Stuck fighting over the same played-out role
Through outlook and reaction, we lay our destiny
In battles and strongholds, we carve our battle fee
Never giving up is the name across major league
We never picked our cards or the hand they came in
Pulled up and sat at the table, they lay in
Solutions delayed in a culture we praise
Poison has come from all this venting through days
Rejecting the process of healing
For a fast-food mentality rooted in feelings
Lack of knowledge got us kneeling
Not knowing the difference in appealing and reviewing
Understand the difference in correction and coercion
Getting tired of the stage of intros and conjunctions
Grow and not level with all this plus distraction
