High School as peak;
Perplexed, future mapped downhill 
High hopes, guess ego deflated 
It wasn’t even ego,
Reality had an appointment;
Grace retained an expiration date
In success, ultimately lost faith
Use to juice, 
Woke up and smelled coffee 
Life changed its course 
Scratch five stars,
One meal became sport 
Dismay squatted,
Anger infiltrated
Heart hardened;
Yesterday elated.
