Opposed the stance of our Ancestors
Black Americans fought for Ethiopia
Jeopardized their life; they were not bystanders
Volunteered, went to war against Italy
Heartbreaking, present-day loss of solidity
Abyssinia’s freedom reflects the Black American unity
We owe them homage, defeated colonization for our community
Honor them with the highest regard for preserving global immunity
