Sure, Being Patient Will Cost

Power co-exists with self-control.
Bad company compromises morals.
Seasons are shifting
My number seems like it’s missing
How much longer am I waiting
Still me — again asking?
Standing in the rain while others are passing
Leftover feelings corrupting my head
Should I wait —
Or follow the bright lane that’s calling instead
Heard about deception
Flashes innocence; like a viper, treks biting
Rope evolved to thread
Again––that time came to oppugn head
Same house, or did footer change?
Old mindset never favored my peace
Transforming perspective granted new lease
Haste leads to controlling; fear assembles anxiety
Self-control is required to override humanity
Withdrawing from programs exposes opposition
Inside lives blindness, an algorithm of attraction
Behind the wilderness;
A remnant sowed in resilience
Urge to know everything disturbs the sanity of balance
Ignorance is never promotion––
Discern seasons for contest
Giving up is not a choice but an alias for weakness;
Past trophies retain zones for joggers
